     Captain Jose "Pepi" Granado (Ret) is the founder of SkyMac Consulting, LLC. He possesses the knowledge and expertise required to guide and help Law Enforcement agencies, Private and Corporate organizations, Criminal Justice or Law students to become better and more efficient managing and understanding criminal or internal investigations through training or speaking engagements.

     Before starting SkyMac Consulting, Jose dedicated 36 years to the law enforcement profession, specializing in Violent Crimes with an emphasis on Homicide investigations.  Jose is well respected in his field and is a subject matter expert with extensive homicide experience as an investigator and supervisor.  His investigative career spans over 25 years, first with the City of Miami Police Department and concluding with the City of Miami Gardens Police Department. Jose rose through the ranks of the Miami Police Department to become the senior homicide supervisor where he managed complex investigations as well as mentoring new supervisors and investigators.  After a successful career with the City of Miami Police Department, he was recruited to help create a Criminal Investigations Section within the newly formed City of Miami Gardens Police Department.  His primary objective was to develop and implement the standards, protocols, and procedures for the Criminal Investigations Section, specifically the Violent Crimes unit.  He devoted 11 years to mentoring and training all officers and supervisors within the Investigations division and agency.

     His exploits are well documented in news articles and television specials which include the hit A&E series "The First 48."
